Safari Users Reported Crashes Issues on iPhone,iPad and Mac due to an Strange Bug.

Safari users are today reporting an odd issue causing Apple's web browser app to crash on both Macs and iOS devices. In this Post we will let u know about How Safari Crashed,Reason for Crash of Safari,How to  Fix Safari Crash Using Safari Suggestions,How to Fix Safari Crash Using Private Browsing Mode.

Safari Crashes:

A strange bug is affecting many safari users today, causing crashes on iPhone,iPad and Mac. Several Mac users are not even receiving autocomplete suggestions when entering text into Safari's address bar, with many pages including sites like Google failing to load completely. For many iPhone and iPad users, simply tapping on the URL bar causes Safari to crash.

Generally When a URL is entered, Apple sends what you type to its servers, returning a response with autocomplete search queries, Top Sites and other info. There appears to be a bug in this server request that is causing Safari to randomly crash.

Apple support forums online pointed to Safari's search suggestions box as the source of the glitch. Typing anything into the box appears to crash the app.

Reason For Safari Crash:

Steven Troughton-Smith, an iOS developer, notes that the problems are    related to Safari's search suggestions feature. He Says Simply disabling this feature will stop Safari crashing, or using the private mode option in the browser as a temporary workaround. Not everyone is affected, and this could be because some have the search suggestions cached locally or they're still able to reach Apple's servers thanks to a DNS cache.

How to Fix Safari crash using Safari Suggestions:

Apple has so far yet to respond to the issue, but there is a workaround to stop the crashes while we wait for an official acknowledgment. The current fix for iOS and Mac involves disabling Safari Suggestions, which stops the app from crashing to the home screen. On your iOS device, go into Settings, tap Safari, and toggle off the "Safari Suggestions" switch. On your Mac, the same setting is found in Safari -> Preferences -> Search. Another Option is to enter Private Browsing mode.

The bug doesn't impact all users, but it seems to affect Safari on iOS 8 and 9, as well as the latest version of El Capitan, OS X 10.11.1.

Though issue causing Apple's web browser app to crash on both Macs and iOS devices seems simple but its a serious flaw. Hope Apple fixes this issue shortly.
How to Fix Safari Crash Using Private Browsing Mode:

Another option is to enter Private Browsing mode. In private browsing, by design Safari does not contact the suggestions server for intelligent completion options, so the server is never contacted and the crash never arises.
