Players celebration after the dismissal of Glenn Maxwell, which is an excellent stumping by MSD in yuvraj bowling.
FIRST INNINGS:
Australia won the toss and opted to field first. In the first innings every Indian batsmen performed well. With  Rohit and Dhawan's attack India got a good start and when Dhawan got dismissed Kohli played a good game sticking on to the basics and lead India to give a good target.Indian captain MSD made a trail as a 3-down batsmen and promoted himself before Raina and Yuvraj. MSD played good but did not reach the expectation of Indian fans.

Shikhar Dhawan gave a excellent start for India with his 32-ball 42 with 3 fours and 2 sixers and made the game on. He smashed in Faulkner's slower balls and when the both batsmen were about to settle Dhawan got dismissed with his wrong selection of shot. Dhawan attempted a reverse sweep and holes out. Knelt down and got it off the middle but slotted it straight to Chris Lynn at backward point who plucks an easy catch sans any discomfort.

And it was Rohit sharma who played very slow in the first over and later played an excellent game with his classic shots and established a very very good patnership with Shikhar Dhawan and later with Virat Kohli. Rohit scored 60 runs from 47 balls with 5-fours and 3-sixes.In the 17th over Rohit was Run-out. Virat and Rohit
again involved in another run-out. Everyone thought the second run was on. Kohli simply turned his back there. Full delivery on the stumps, Kohli flicks it nicely along the ground through mid-wicket, Maxwell rushes to his right from deep mid-wicket and fires the throw to the keeper's end. The second was surely on, unless he slipped while turning. Rohit was charing to the other end and was left stranded in the middle. Wade ran forward, collected the throw and whipped the bails off.

And its Virat again who is the MOM with 59 runs out of 33 balls with 7-fours and a six, with a amazing strike rate of 178.89.And with this innings Kohli becomes the only player to average above 50 in T20Is (considering a minimum of 500 runs). He stood untill last over and took India to a great victory.

SECOND INNINGS:
Second innings was a thriller in the game today. The first 10 over game was totally in the control of aussies seemed strong with Shaun Marsh and Aaron Finch. In the 10th over Ashwin was the bowler and Marsh dismissed with acatch from Hardyik pandya. It was the Game turning point, untill then India seemed to loose the Game.Spinners made the Entire game on.Back-to-back wickets of Chris Lynn 23(23) and Glenn Maxwell 1(2) in the 11th , 12th overs had put the stress on Australian batsmen. Jadeja took an excellent catch of Shane Watson and the reaction time recorded was 0.455 secs.Watson,Umpire and every one was surprised with that amazing catch. And shane watson 15(11) have to go pavilion in the 15th over.

Aaron Finch the Australian captain led the game with his innings 74(48) with 8-Fours and 2-sixes.
Although he is suffering from a injury he tried his best in leading Australia to win the game.He was run-out in the 16th over .After his dismissal clearly the game was on India's side and India made a comforatble win. However,Faulkner tried to put game on and was dismissed by a stumping made by MSD. And in the 20th over Jasprit Bumrah  took 2 wickets with his excellent yorkers.

And it was MSD who didn't perform that good with bat but played a superb game during the second innings with One catch,One run-out and 2-stumpings. All were very crucial, and his presence of mind and his reflexes that made Faulkner out.Actually it was only MSD who appealed for James Faulkner Stumping and no one thought it was,but it is!!.
With that stumping Dhoni now holds the record for most number of stumpings (140*) in International cricket. Went past Kumar Sangakkara's 139.

POST-MATCH PRESENTATION:

Dhoni: "It's fun (playing in front of a big crowd). Thanks for all the support. That was a fantastic catch (Jadeja's stunning grab that got rid of Watson). That was a crucial point of the game. They got off to a good start and it was important for us to take wickets. The spinners did the job and Hardik's first over was very crucial. We have been looking for someone who can give us good death overs and Bumrah has done well so far. He can consistently bowl yorkers. The good thing is that the more he plays, the better he will get."

Watson: "We got a really good start, but unfortunately we lost wickets in the middle and made it hard for ourselves. Aaron hurt his right hamstring. He's being assessed right now, hopefully it is not too serious. He has been hitting the ball really well. Sunday is very important for us. We are testing out a few players at the moment. The conditions are very different out there for the World T20 in India."
Finch injured his hamstring while taking a risky run and was not available for the presentation.

Kohli: "I love coming to Australia and bat on these wickets. We get a lot of Indian support as well. Sealing the series here at the MCG feels special. I am very happy that I contributed to the team at an important time. Rohit has been timing the ball well. Shikhar took a bit of time in the ODI series, but he has been batting well as well. I rely on timing to hit sixes than going really hard at it."
