A 14-month-old toddler was left unhurt even
after falling on her face from a second floor window in Brazil. The video went
viral on social media on Saturday which got captured in a CCTV footage from
Ceara, Fortaleza in Brazil.
Footage shows that the little girl who has been identified as Helena Beatrice Nascimento can be seen suddenly dropping from a town centre building. But miraculously got up. Just seconds after the dramatic drop, she pulls herself onto her knees in a crawling position, before falling back again.
A taxi
driver rushes to her aid, and appears shocked by what he’s just seen.Eventually, after several
other passers by come over to comfort the child, the mother runs out of the
building towards her.

Beatrice lives with her mother and two older brothers, aged five and
seven. The toddler’s grandmother, Maria Veraneide Silva Nascimento, was
visiting at the time.
She told that ‘Beatrice was
sleeping in a bed right next to a window without bars in the bedroom.‘She must
have woken up around 7.30am and we think she managed to get to the window and
fall out. We are still in a state of shock that she survived.’ she believes an angel stopped the child from dying.
Eyewitnesses said the baby's fall was broken by telephone wires which deflected the full impact of her plunge on the way down. The child suffered a few scrapes and a slight bruise to her forehead and is expected to make a full recovery. She was released from hospital after a thorough check-up.
