The 61st Filmfare Awards
2015 were recently commenced and we have to admit it was quite a starry affair
with the who's who of B-Town including names like Deepika Padukone, Shah Rukh
Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor and many more, all gathered
under one roof for the coveted event and the excitement in the air was almost
tangible.
Sanjay
Leela Bhansali's Bajirao Mastani and Soojit Sircar's Piku swept away most of
the awards and this was no surprise for the audience present at Filmfare
Awards. While Ranveer Singh won the Best Actor in the leading role Male for his
performance in Bajirao Mastani, Deepika Padukone bagged the title of Best Actor
in the leading role female for Piku. Veteran actor Moushumi Chatterjee was
given Lifetime Achievement Award for her contribution in Bollywood.
It was star-studded night and other celebrities also won the
awards in different categories.
The best part of the night was to see our favourite celebs take the coveted black
lady home.
