A historic win in a high drama.India levels the tour to Australia 4-4 , Whitewashed Australia in the T20I series.

3rd T20I in SCG is the high thriller game of all the matches in this tour.India got a historic win in this high drama and India levels the tour to Australia 4-4 and White washed Australia in T20I series.India chased a huge target of 198 in this limited over game and achieved a huge victory by 7 wickets. Everyone played really good to chase that huge target and the game was exciting untill the last ball. Dhoni collected the trophy and his team-mates also joined him in celebrations. They all looked extremely delighted while posing for the shutterbugs. The Indians then went for a walk around the ground to thank their supporters. India stood first in ICC T20I rankings and Australia fell down to 8th rank after this series.

FIRST INNINGS:

Australia won the toss and choosed to bat. Shane Watson who is the captain for 3rd T20I played an excellent and seemed consistent throughout the game.Usman khawaja's wicket was the first wicket took by ashish nehra in the early overs. Then Shaun Marsh came to bat who didn't stand too long with watson. No player gave a consistent stand to Shane Watson except Travis Head.Shane Watson who was the player of the match in today's game stood not out and scored an unbeaten innings of  124*(71 balls) with 10 fours and 6 sixes and with strike rate 174.65.Again maxwell lost his wicket in yuvi bowling.

SECOND INNINGS:

Dhawan gave a tremendous start to India as usually. Dhawan scored 26 from 9 balls with 4 fours and one six and with a tremendous strike rate of 288.78.when Dhawan got dismissed the Current runrate was around 12.00rpo. He along with rohit gave such a start to chase a huge target. If he would have played with some consistency for some more time the game would have finished earlier.

Later after the dismissal od Shikhar Dhawan Rohit played consistently with Virat Kohli and established a huge partner ship until 13th over.Kohli played in his style and both Virat and Rohit completed thier half centuries. soon after their completion of half centuries they got dismissed.
Virat Kohli 50(36) 2fours, 1 six
Rohit Sharma 52(38) 5 fours, 1 six

Then Raina who came in played an excellent innings  of 25 ball 49* with six fours and one six, with strike rate around 200.00

However, yuvraj took some time to adjust in the field in that crucial time and made everyone get tensed and paid for his mistake by gifting two huge ,back to back boundaries in the 19th over(a six and a four) and scored 15*(12 ).

POST MATCH PRESENTATIONS:

Dhoni: I think I will give a lot of credit to the bowlers. The batsmen were doing well in the ODI series as well. I think that's what has changed after the 4th ODI. The batsmen too have notched up 10 percent more, but the bowlers are the ones, who have done a fantastic job in this series. If everything goes well, this will be our side for the World T20. Maybe 2-3 changes because the conditions will be a little different in India. But mostly, it will almost stay the same for the World T20. We need those part timers, Yuvraj, Pandya and Raina. They give you the extra option with the ball and that gives us more depth as a side. Both (Kohli and Rohit) of them are playing really well and it's important for them to enjoy their cricket at the moment. There are times when you won't score many runs, it's bound to happen to everyone and that's why it's important for them to score as many as possible when they are in such good form.

Watson: They're no doubt special (talking about the Indian batting). They showed it in the ODI series and now in the T20Is as well. They have got some really great world-class players, it's always difficult to beat them. I am just loving every minute of playing for Australia. I feel privileged to captain my country. It can be hectic at times, but it has been a lot of fun. I do enjoy batting at the top of the order. Initially, I could play well and then I took the momentum forward. Once we really solidify our combination for the World T20, we have got some world-class players as well, we should have a very successful tournament. We just need to get our team right.

Kohli: It feels really special right now. We wanted to finish the tour on 4-4 and I am really happy with the way we finished the game. The credit goes to the whole team, everyone has played well. I was pretty disappointed when I got out because I wanted to finish the game today. It was great to see Yuvi and Raina finishing it for us, great to see them both performing like that and winning it for us. I have always said this before as well, I am a big fan of Rohit's batting. Everything is just so easy for him, he deserves a lot of credit, along with Shikhar Dhawan as well. I would like to think so (on being the favourites to win the World T20). We have a few more games before the World T20 and we would like to keep doing better.
