The Imtiaz Ali, Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone trio is perhaps the MOST exciting film combination before the second last month of the calendar year ends.  Imtiaz Ali has done it again – he’s got us hooked on to the movie even before it has released.Here’s why we just cannot wait to watch ‘Tamasha’ on the big screen this weekend!We list 7 reasons why you need to rush to the box office and grab tickets too!

Imtiaz Ali is known to make passionate and intense love stories with a heart and soul. Films like Jab We Met, Love Aaj Kal and Rockstar have proved his mettle as one the finest film makers in the country. Deepika Padukone sets hearts fluttering with just one look and her dimpled million dollar smile. She started her career with the blockbuster Om Shanti Om and with films like Cocktail, Piku, Finding Fanny and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani she has firmly established herself as a formidable actress with acting prowess at the box office.

1) Because it is Ranbir and Deepika. The only hope of an SRK-Kajol romance recreation.

If there is anybody who can be rightfully termed as the next superstar of Bollywood it is Ranbir Kapoor. Good looks, immense amount of talent, smooth dancing abilities and oodles of charm. They are the ultimate romantic dream team. Though Ranbir and Deepika dated a few years ago and broke up subsequently. This ‘once upon a time couple turned exes’ remain cordial and choose to put their past behind it and do some wonderful films together. Even if they are no more in a relationship they look sizzling together in Tamasha.

Imtiaz Ali can be easily called the ‘Modern day Yash Chopra’. Known for making some of the best love stories of the generation. He has made films like Jab We Met, Love Aaj Kal, Rockstar and Tamasha. Each with a twist and yet those ‘awww’ moments. We cannot wait!

3) Marvellous music:

AR Rahman, Irshad Kamil and Imtiaz Ali together make the best music. Songs like Nadaan Parindey, Yeh Dooriyan, Tumse Hi, Tum Ho, Tu koi aur hai and Agar tum saath ho is testimony to their musical genius. The soundtrack is lovely and easy on their ears and beautifies the film. The Tamasha soundtrack is pleasing too!

4) Beautiful locations

The film scores a 10/10 when it comes to cinematography, if there is anything to go by the promos. The wondrous locations of Corsica, Delhi, Kolkata and Tokyo look their breath-taking best.

 5) The perfect time for a monopoly

Unlike the awaited December clash of Dilwale and Bajirao Mastani, Tamasha is the solo big Bollywood release at the box office and will thus enjoy a monopoly and no competition from other releases. Though there are some spectacular Hollywood releases including the Bond flick ‘Spectre’. We root for RK-DP to make some “Tamasha” at the box office.
