India Will Now Help Afghanistan In Treating                   4000 Kids With Heart Diseases

After funding Afghanistan’s $300 million (around ₹ 2000 crores) dam, India has taken another step to extent its support towards the nation.India is going to help 4,000 Afghan children having heart disease with their treatment. Most of the children have a ‘hole in heart’ condition, which is called Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD) in medical terms.

From joining hands to dismantle the terror network in their countries to boosting trade, to even helping reconstruct the $300 Salma Dam, India has never hesitated in providing any sort of assistance to war-ravaged Afghanistan. The Indo-Afghanistan friendship has always blossomed despite the geographical barriers, and the Modi-led government has made sure it continues to flourish despite all the political hurdles too.

Indian Ambassador, Amar Sinha also said that it was a pleasure for him to see the Indian government supporting Afghanistan. He said, “India will also train Afghan cardiologists to handle simple cardiac cases in Afghanistan.” Here’s what he tweeted.

The budget of $3000 will be spent on each heart patient in the coming five years, and if that increases by $4000, the remaining balance would be covered by ARCS. The chairperson of ARCS Fatima Gilani acknowledged India’s generous contribution and praised the genuine efforts raised by our country. A spokesperson from ARCS said, "India has always assisted ARCS."
