Our nations' biggest problem is not corruption, our nations' biggest problem is our mindset. My neighbor's problem is not my problem, but his success is. The street light won't work, but who is ready to own it-no one.
We all think that someone else is responsible for doing it, and will wait for that someone else to do it, and in the mean time crib about every damn thing. Swachh Bharat was one great initiative, we first got excited, and said -"the new PM is great and he will bring cleanliness in the country.
Then as days passed celebrities took part and we sitting in our own houses said that it has turned fake. And now we crib asking -"where the 'ache din' are," but did you anytime move your butt and clean anything that was thrown at least in front of your house, did you anytime pick something that was fallen off garbage bin and throw it back, well when the answer is no, stop pulling someone down.
We have to change our mindset. We also involves government here, our roads are F'd today, one rain and the whole roads have turned bad, and what is the government waiting for- more deaths? accidents? to help hospitals? Rains to end? Why can't good roads be laid in the first place? The mindset has to change, people have to do their shit properly. We have to change. We have to own things if if they bother us. We have to be the change.
Otherwise we will become a country, of countrymen who will slit each other's throats on basis of religion. Please, stop dividing people on basis of religion. I am a Hindu because I was born in a Hindu house, but I equally love my Muslim, Christian and Sikh friends, but what I hate is the mindset that divides us all.
I just hate those uneducated people sitting on the top dividing us yet all over again. Grow up guys, understand what's happening around, it's time to get together not divide. It's saddening to see we relating every bad thing happening in the country to religion. That's what they want to instill in our minds and we are helping them right.
The mindset has to change, we can't be egoistic, we have to be more open, more accepting to change, to other's success, to someone else's growth and be happy and learn to work hard to reach there and not just sit and crib. We have to change. And yes we have to be the change to see the change in the world. Our nation needs us, and it needs us now.
