"This is the people's victory. My first priority will be to end "rishvatkhori"(bribes)," kejriwal said.
"Don't get arrogant, the Congress and the BJP were defeated because of arrogance. We have to do a lot of work for Delhi," Mr Kejriwal said in his first remarks to exultant party workers at AAP's central Delhi office.

"The people of Delhi have achieved something spectacular. It is very scary, the kind of support the people of Delhi have given us," he said.

Here are the some reasons that went wrong for BJP and congress and how Aam Aadmi party turned things around

To be fair to PM Narendra Modi, this was not an election about him. It was all about Arvind Kejriwal and AAP in Delhi. With elections being more personality-centric, voters are increasingly showing a tendency to differentiate between local, state and Lok Sabha polls.

The results from Delhi are a vindication for the Aam Aadmi Party which will return to Delhi with a thumping majority this time. BJP had been reduced to single digits, while the Congress has failed to open its account in the capital.

AAP may have fared miserably in the Lok Sabha polls and may not be a force at the national level, but the party still remains a major player in Delhi. Punjab may be next on AAP's agenda.

Congress looks all set not to win a single seat in the Delhi assembly polls. For the BJP, Delhi assembly elections are more a reflection of a poor state unit than a loss of appeal of Modi among voters. There was too much infighting in the BJP's Delhi unit.

The BJP has been a major gainer of anti-incumbency in the Lok Sabha as well as in subsequent state elections. In Delhi, with Modi as the PM, the BJP was not able to cash in on unsatisfactory performance of other governments.

Delhi elections are the first major setback for BJP's "master strategist" Amit Shah. All the moves of Amit Shah including getting Kiran Bedi as BJP's CM candidate failed to click with Delhi voters.

Mr Kejriwal will return as Delhi's chief minister for the second time. A year ago, his abrupt resignation after 40 days in power left him facing considerable criticism. He issued many apologies and admitted that he had made a mistake. Today's results mean Delhi has forgiven the man that the BJP nicknamed "Bhagoda (runaway) CM."

Despite living with a small team of security personnel in the past year, the activist turned politician insisted today that he does not want any security. " I promise to be the janta's Chief Minister and end corruption and VIP culture. I am an ordinary man, I want to remain an ordinary man," he asserted.

Indeed this is the victory of Aam Aadmi Party hope Aap Governs well in Delhi and Expand their party all over in India
