Prime minister Narender modi and Us president Barrack Obama meeting was inspiring one,as Obama was the second president to visit india on Republic day.Some big Acheivements were made which shows how the both countries are moving towards Strong Partnership in Development.

1.Civil Nuclear Deal

The civil nuclear agreement was the centrepiece of both transformed relationship, which demonstrated new trust. It also created new economic opportunities and expanded our option for clean energy. In the course of the past four months, both countries have worked with a sense of purpose to move it forward. We should be  pleased that after six years  bilateral agreement was signed, both countries are moving towards commercial cooperation, consistency on law, international legal obligations,  technical and commercial viability.

2.Developments in Science and Tech

Both countries are  deepened their collaboration in science, technology, innovation, agriculture, health, education and skills. These are central to the future of our two countries and also give us all an opportunity to help others around the world.

3.Anti Terriosm pacts

Since india is facing lot of problems due to terrriosm from pakisthan many crucial pacts were signed between both the countries which were to reduce Terrorism which  remains a principal global threat. Both countries agreed that they needed  a comprehensive global strategy and approach to combat with it. There should be no distinction between terrorist groups. Every country must fulfill its commitments to eliminate terrorist safe havens and bring terrorists to justice.  two countries  deepened their bilateral security cooperation against terrorist groups. And, we will further enhance their counter-terrorism capabilities, including in the area of technology

4.Indeginious Developments in Defence

 both have decided to take  growing defence cooperation to a new level. both have agreed, in principle, to pursue co-development and co-production of specific advanced defence projects. These will help upgrade their domestic defence industry and expand the manufacturing sector in India. also explore cooperation were done  in other areas of advanced defence technologies.


5.Important trade agreements

Both countries have established a number of effective bilateral mechanisms to identify opportunities and also help our businesses trade and invest more. Both countries  resumed dialogue on Bilateral Investment Treaty. also restarted discussions on a Social Security Agreement that is so important for the hundreds of thousands of Indian professionals working in the United States
