The Coolpad Note 3 was recently announced in China and the phone comes with a fingerprint scanner at its back with a 360-degree finger rotation capability.As expected, Coolpad has launched the all new Note 3 in India priced at Rs 8,999. It will be available exclusively via Snapdeal starting October 20.
The new phone comes with a 5.5-inch HD display, running on Android 5.1 out of the box and houses the Mediatek MT6753 SoC which has an octa-core processor. This is paired with 2GB of RAM and the Dazen Note 3 comes with 16GB of on-board storage. According to Varun Sharma from Coolpad, the company may just launch the Indian version of the Coolpad Note 3 with 3GB of RAM.
On the camera front, you get a 13MP rear camera with an LED flash unit and a 5MP front-facing camera. The Coolpad Note 3 is a dual SIM 4G LTE supporting handset and will be powered by a 3,000 mAh battery.

The company has also said it will invest Rs 300 million in India. It has inked a deal with Videocon for manufacturing smartphones in India and its first ‘Made in India’ phone is expected to arrive in Q1 of 2016.

Coolpad is also outing the UI features lke multi-window mode, double tap wake up, and smart gesture. It is worth noting that the Coolpad Note 3 is probably the only Android 5.1 Lollipop smartphone to feature 3GB of RAM and a fingerprint sensor under Rs. 10,000.
The handset's closest competitor might be the Yu Yureka Plus, which recently got a price cut and now costs Rs. 8,999.
The smartphone, which now runs Android OS instead of Cyanogen, features 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) IPS display; octa-core Snapdragon 615 SoC (MSM8939) clocked at 1.5GHz; 2GB of RAM; 13-megapixel autofocus camera; 5-megapixel front-facing camera; 16GB of expandable storage, and a 2500mAh battery.
